It seems to me that it may have been cheaper to buy a new rug than to pay someone to clean it. Especially when it took six days to clean it. Although, I can understand wanting to keep it for sentimental reasons, but I guess if you kept it for sentimental reasons you wouldn’t have let it get so dirty. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My question is: was someone really using that carpet? Whatever the floor may be I'm sure it's got to be cleaner than that carpet, even if it is dirt. At least the dirt on the floor gets moved around.

It looks nearly impossible to say that was the old one. I do not say that you did not get it clean, but that is a hell of a job and for the carpet to keep its colors.

Your technique is much superior to that of the other Change Cleaning Service Center channel from the UK. They do the back, and then the front, and never flip again. That's wrong. You do front, back, front, and maybe even more flips if needed. The way the other channel does it leaves mud on the back for sure!

I want to crawl through the screen and shove a wire mesh screen or rack UNDER the rug, so that it’s not just sitting in it’s own filth and can actually drain the dirt away underneath and rinse through…. sigh
